So, ignoring injuries that come from too much exercise, is it possible to exercise way too much?

I think it is possible, personally speaking. If you spend all your time doing it, it kind of becomes disordered after a while. Ignoring injury, I imagine it would have negative health consequences too. I think people look kinda rough after a certain extent of being too ripped, or if their goal is to lose weight being underweight, etc. What do you think?

After a certain amount you would be only losing any benefits that would come from exercising. Ignoring just like the chances of being injured or injury itself, you would be overworking your body with no way proper to recover and you'd be destroying tissue.

I've experienced it the most when i was doing MMA competition (alongside a regular physical job), 2 months before any fight, i started to train 2 times per day, 6days/7. Conditionning in the morning, one skill (grappling, striking) training in the afternoon. I felt the overtraining in my joints and my tendons, who was always inflamed even before the fight.

I felt it also on my gut health, sleep and my libido. I looked rough.

Ego lifting can definitely increase the risks of injuries and not resting enough slows down progress significantly. Not having at least a rest day or two in your week is detrimental to your body’s recovery. Resting and recovering is part of the bodybuilding too. But to generally answer the question: Yes, pushing your body past its limits is counter productive.

I think a good rule to abide by (in life) is that too much of anything will kill you. Life really is about balance.
Too much salt will kill you, too much sugar will kill you, too much of anything will kill you.

But JFL at the Goatis lackeys who claim that exercise is bad for you.
Palaeolithic hunter-gatherers literally got exercise through hunting. It's just an excuse for hedonism.
