Is it possible to exercise too much?

So, ignoring injuries that come from too much exercise, is it possible to exercise way too much?

I think it is possible, personally speaking. If you spend all your time doing it, it kind of becomes disordered after a while. Ignoring injury, I imagine it would have negative health consequences too. I think people look kinda rough after a certain extent of being too ripped, or if their goal is to lose weight being underweight, etc. What do you think?
I've experienced it the most when i was doing MMA competition (alongside a regular physical job), 2 months before any fight, i started to train 2 times per day, 6days/7. Conditionning in the morning, one skill (grappling, striking) training in the afternoon. I felt the overtraining in my joints and my tendons, who was always inflamed even before the fight.

I felt it also on my gut health, sleep and my libido. I looked rough.
