I actually don't know what specific jobs to look into. I'm 17, and it's time for me to get my shit together a bit by bit, and I don't know where to put my mind into. All I do is go to the gym and spend time with my gf. Both my parents work doing massages; Dad does sport-type massages for athletes who do track, and mom just does relaxing/pain relief. I could go study this after school, but I'm not really sure if I'm going to like it or not. Plus I'm a dude so I don't know if people would pick a male over a woman for their massage therapist. I was thinking of trying to find a job in a supplement store when I turn 18, but I don't know if there will be any open spots. If not, I can try working in a grocery store like Lidl just to make some money so I can buy myself a car and have an income. I'm worried about my future because I don't know what's waiting for me. Has someone in here gone through the same?

Hope yall doing well

Much love

im going through this right now but i've been convincing myself I still have time. Your not alone lmao

david, dont stress too much about having everything figured out at 17..

The best thing that you can do rn is to try everything
take language classes, try drawing if you’re interested in design, maybe take some coding courses and find out you love programming
try different sports, you might end up becoming a professional athlete or even a coach.. try photography, cooking, writing, anything. You never know what you’re actually good at until you give it a shot Just keep exploring different things until you find that one thing you genuinely love

also your first job doesn’t have to become your career. rn your goal should be to build experience, save some money, and learn more about yoursel. That’s how most people end up finding the right path..
good luck, david! hope this helps<3
