In your humble opinions, does work provide more meaning in life vs a life where work isn't something involved.

Kind of interested in all sides of the question - wether the choice to work or not is necessary/mandatory to maintain a good quality of life, if enjoying the work you do is enough to add meaning, or maybe the impact it has on the overall world?

Most people are doing a job they don't like that much, unless you've made your hobbies profitable, like i do with my side hustles.

I do think most people would not work if the need of money will be not involved

If you don’t work that means you’ll have a lot more free time on your hands, which sounds good at first, but it gets boring quickly.

Coming home from a long day of work is 100 times more rewarding than not leaving your home at all. This is just how I feel so I’m not really right or wrong.

Matters,
If you are simply working to survive then no, you must overcome yourself and improve and get out of your comfort zone

I believe that the meaning of life is to overcome yourself and better yourself, become unrecognisable in your wonder

Life is all about adaptation, I dislike the idea of having one job, I started my business while I was in university, and now I am a multi millionaire, yet I still work many mundane jobs for certain periods of time to overcome myself and better my knowledge, sharpen my skills, and overall better myself as a person

You should always strive to better yourself

i think working itself gives you a purpose to live your life, but it really depends on what you do imo people are not made to rot alone and do nothing all the time, even the people in the stone age had "jobs" for different stuff like gathering, hunting and whatever else these mfs did

but in todays age we got so many different jobs where you don't get that feeling from probably, i think the most meaningful jobs are working for NGOs which help animal or people in need, because you get the most "reward" out of it because you are genuienly helping someone in need which probably gives you more purpose than just rotting in a office 8h wirting invoices and answering emails
