Vent I think I have abused dog syndrome

For those who do not know what it means:
Abused dog syndrome refers to physical and behavioral symptoms of trauma, including extreme fear, aggression, anxiety, hiding, and hypervigilance (e.g., trembling, startled by movement) Affected dogs often exhibit, through, or social withdrawal as a survival mechanism. Rehabilitation involves patience, positive reinforcement, and specialized veterinary behavioral training.
I do not know how to overcome this, I do not want to seek out the positive reinforcement because I do not want to be hurt in the process, and I also feel like an attention craving whore

What do I do, and do not make some gay response saying 'just put yourself out there' what is something that I can do alone
 
i think most people who are active on those spaces unfortunately have that, we're not looking for a reason to improve just for fun and reading most .com and .org applications proof that too, there are so many desperate people sadly which is kinda sad

Idk man I don't even really care about my looks, I thought improving them would get me a gf or smth

i mean, the only options i can think of would genuinely be putting yourself out there or maybe learning acceptance. it's normal to want positive affirmation, and it's normal to a certain degree to feel embarrassed by wanting it a lot. it only becomes a problem when it disturbs you to the point of denying yourself of solutions, stuff like that

commentary references what u asked for directly, but it's hard to give advice when the request is unreasonable. an example: 'how do i stop bein dehydrated? no gay shit like water'. im sure there ARE other solutions, but the core issue is wanting to take a shortcut expecting similar results. the answer u dont want is probably the easiest, safest option
