it would be nice to know when somebody reads your pm, of course the viewing thing is helpful but it would be nice for it to be like text messages.

On PC, if you hover over someone's name in the 'viewing thread' list, you can see when exactly someone was on the thread. Sadly doesn't work on mobile and it'd be hard to make it work.

Maybe you could adjust the tooltips like you did with the banners, but I don't know how that'd work. @Yun
 
This should be added for staff now. My biggest concern with the current addon is it'd display the checkmark even if the user has their activity disabled, which is not something I'm fond of. I'm hoping to add it in the future for everyone but I need to find a way for users to disable it via their account settings first. Users should be able to pick if they want that information visible or not in the same way it's an option for threads and so on. So I'll look around until I find something better.

Yeah, I don't want to have to justify myself on certain questionable threads.
