i alr know this gonna get hate but this is from personal experience:

(as a straight man) I’ve found that painting my nails red or literally anything but black has increased the amount of conversations i get with women more than men, obviously all women have underlying homophobia so the beginning of the conversation is usually them calling you a gay or slur or sum bullshit

but once you get past the average convo with a woman anyways, it seems that they actually like the idea of it maybe because it signals lower inhib???

btw i literally only paint my nails bc i enjoy stimming by biting near my nails so nail polish keeps me from doing that, this is just a side effect ive noticed.
