Hey guys, I'm looking to hit a nostalgia trip and form a group of friends to play Goose Goose Duck with.
If you ever played Mafia, then you know what this game is about:
Goose Goose duck is a social deduction game pretty similar to among us, but with many more maps (which are also more interactive), roles, and options. It can be played with up to 16 people, but i'm looking for anywhere above 8 (so far i got only myself).
Ingame, the players are split into 3 factions:
- Geese (Aka. the survivors. You complete tasks to win and have to figure out who the ducks are)
- Ducks (Aka. the killers. Secretly kill the goose using cool powers in your disposal.)
- Neutrals (Aka... the neutrals... You have unique win conditions that don't HAVE to ally with ducks or geese, but sometimes it's better for you)
There are many cool roles that you can randomly get assigned, as an example:
+ Geese can get:
- Astral, which can send his spirit through walls
- Avenger, who can gain the ability to kill after seeing someone kill
- Birdwatcher, who can see through walls
- Bodyguard, who can protect another player every round
- Detective, who can check if someone was recently killed
- Mimic, who appears as ducks (killers) to other ducks, which can make for funny plays
- Stalker, Esper, Mechanic, Medium, Technician and plenty more
+ Ducks can get:
- Assassin, who can guess a role during a meeting to instantly kill someone
- Demolitionist, who can plant bombs
- Silencer, who can mute someone during meetings (very powerful, I once saw someone get killed and had to watch them get away with it because I couldn't speak)
- Professional, who can hide bodies
- Morphling, who can morph into other players
- Cannibal, who can eat bodies to hide evidence (and gains special things for it)
- and way more
+ Neutrals, by far the most fun role, can get:
- Pelican, who can swallow players whole until a meeting. Its goal is to swallow every player on the map.
- Dodo Bird, who wants to be voted out and wins if it is.
- Pigeon, who wants to infect everyone on the map and wins if it does.
- Falcon, who wants to be the only person left alive.

REQUIREMENTS TO PLAY:
- Working microphone
- PC with a steam account
- Money isn't required, goose goose duck is a free game
- Ability to minimally speak english (fluency isn't required, but atleast being able to form coherent sentences, so we know what you're talking about)
- Optionally discord for better managment on when to play
If you're intrested, let me know in this thread, and i'll add you to a groupchat! You're welcome to invite your friends aswell, as long as they meet the requirements. This post will be locked when i somehow find more than 16 players which i doubt will happen.
