there is this girl and she and i had thatre class together, its been almost 1 year now and she still knows me!

the thing is, she added me and instantly send a pic of herself doing a "silly" tounge out pic.

Genuine question is this normal on snap?

First off, I don't think the culture in question is snapchat. Theater kids in general have unique subcultures, let alone other demographics like regional and age based cultures. The general rule, though, is that the safest bet is often to match energy. If she sent a silly selfie, it's often reasonable to interpret you can do the same.

Trying to interpret patterns and signs can lead to creating meaning when there isn't any. That can lead to spiraling. When in doubt, match.
If it mathers during the time we had class together she didnt have a bf, and she invited me to her birthday (which is still one of the best days i ever had)
