I've heard people say that quality food is better but idk.
Like 1000cals of candy Vs 1000 cals of chicken,milk,meat etc.

And I'm asking this because I just ate 1000 cals worth of Nutella...

It is usually because you get a (more) diverse set of micronutrients and vitamins/minerals

Nutella just gives you loads of sugar (carbs) and fat
