Megathread Comics mega thread, recs, runs & pull lists! :)

i love the riddler year one comics
they are newish, came out after the batman but super enjoyable
riddler year one goes crazy. its wild how Paul dano actually wrote it himself to expand on his character from the movie. the art style feels gruesome and psychological af. it fits that universe perfectly like a puzzle piece. the dive into his backstory is also perfect tbh. have you finished the whole thing yet or are you still getting through it?

yeah the fact paul dano wrote it himself is absolutely crazy to me. i feel the exact same way about it, i love seeing the deep dive into his character and how paul dano expanded on it so well and how he adjusted the old riddler into the new one. i'm currently on book 2, i'm trying not to read it somewhere but instead buy the hard cover limited edition books to read them. have you finished it yet??

It’s so amazing how he pulled it off. i haven’t finished the whole thing yet, i actually just paused after issue #3 to take a lil break, we’re practically on the same spot. also holding out for the limited edition hardcover takes a lot of self control and is a massive flex, i respect that since it’s definitely the best way to experience an art style this good.
