Pending add a rep leaderboard

The reason why I removed the reputation leaderboard from the members page is because I didn't want users to care too strongly about the reputation system. The point of the system is just to roughly gauge if a user's interactions on the site are positive or negative, so I didn't want it to be a thing people are wanting to repfarm/artificially increase over time like it is on other sites.

I'm not outright rejecting the suggestion, it'd remain open so I can see other people's opinions about it, but I currently don't have plans on re-adding it back.

I believe it's a fun thing to see, but yeah it would probably cause more harm than needed.

I like seeing leaderboards just because it's cool to see which user has the most of something, it also gives you something to work towards - which might be an issue if a user decides to use less wanted means to work toward that said goal.

If i was you, I'd have it added for now, and if too many people bring it up (aka. making threads on having the most rep or repfarming) only then would i consider to remove it.
 
1 ) like on org it has highest rep , most posts and shyt
here you can add a list of users who have highest rep or best post to rep ratio , would be fun , though its not smthn neccessary tbh

I think that since this isnt a "looksmaxxing" adjacent forum respect wouldnt be derived from rep
rep is meaningless on most other forums which arent LM related

I have temporarily added the reputation leaderboard to the members page. According to the reactions/votes, users don't seem to be in the majority for it being added, but the most vocal ones are the one advocating for it, so I'm going to see how it goes for the time being.

Suggestion won't be closed for now.
