My thoughts on this forum

I joined this forum very recently, learned about it from tiktok comments and so far i really like it. There are high quality threads, decent people but IMO whats missing are people. I get that its better to be niche, because .org is just filled with greys, but there are just so few threads, i feel like i already seen it all (i wasnt online for more then an hour). So i think some new members would be nice, but just not promoting this on tiktok
 
We don't really want to be "niche" per se. It's just we're still in Beta so we weren't pushing ads/members getting new members too hard.

We plan to close the beta stage though soon and will be pushing for new members then.

We plan to have professionals and experts on the site (Like plastic surgeons, therapists, etc), and we want to reward high quality contributions (with money or perks), but we wouldn't make the join process application only or restrict inexperienced users from joining.

Our goal is to help users of all experience levels to join the site, but there's some private communities that have stricter join requirements for those who are interested in that thing. They're usually invite only or require you to verify your knowledge in certain subjects.

I do plan to add a category similar to The VIP Lounge for "high quality" members where users can apply to join to gain access, but I haven't set it up yet, and besides that I wouldn't have a reason to exclude inexperienced users from joining the site altogether.

This isn’t exactly supposed to be another “lm” site, more so for appearance in general from what i’ve concluded

Yea I saw this tiktok and I saw the comment too actually I joined from a different video but didn't save it

I joined this site recently I have the same opinion kinda because theres not too many threads i want to make threads but I don't know how to format properly I made a thread asking someone to give me a tuto I'm waiting for a reply Ive researched a lot about lm but never really joined any forum

Our goal is not to be niche at all, that would be kinda stupid from a owners perspective because you're limiting yourself which doesn't make any sense in a community like this where you need different opinions, where people can discover new methods or suggest you products you didn't knew etc. it's just the circumstance that we are still working on the forum, but we will hopefully get bigger soon. yeah the fascination of wanting to be "niche" is so weird
when someone says they want to keep this forum "niche", u can kinda tell that they just see this forum as another looksmaxing one when it isnt.
