My thoughts on this forum
PLEASE let it be experienced people
We plan to have professionals and experts on the site (Like plastic surgeons, therapists, etc), and we want to reward high quality contributions (with money or perks), but we wouldn't make the join process application only or restrict inexperienced users from joining.
Our goal is to help users of all experience levels to join the site, but there's some private communities that have stricter join requirements for those who are interested in that thing. They're usually invite only or require you to verify your knowledge in certain subjects.
I do plan to add a category similar to
The VIP Lounge for "high quality" members where users can apply to join to gain access, but I haven't set it up yet, and besides that I wouldn't have a reason to exclude inexperienced users from joining the site altogether.
