What gives you the idea someone was trying to take the site offline?
The lurkers are getting labeled as bots

If you click to inspect the thing majority of them are bots and they're searching for things

I've never seen anything like this done on accident, it's probably on purpose

They need to implement protective measures like on is

I remember it was like 50k the most but now its almost half a mil bruh

Basically archive sites or bots get deployed to create a snapshot of a page so that it remains preserved, looksmax has a protection from that since those bots can only snapshot the main page.


This can be confirmed by opening archive.org and searching looksmax.org.


Hopefully even that stops and master actually does something

It's mainly bots for search engines and training generative AI. Most of the time bots used for attacking purposes are not disclosed as "bots" because the bots are given different permissions and tools. It's mainly a self disclosure system and usually clicking on a random bot and seeing the information will tell you what the bot is for, e.g. Google, Bing, etc.
