I saw this section and I'm just curious what does it take to be considered to be in Worst of the worst (WOTW)? Does it has to do with something said that is against the forum rules? Does it have to be bannable? Or does it just have to be brainrotted goofy NON helpful shitposts like mine :crying: :CRYING: (In other words I would like to nominate this post to be first in there for Hymen:Smirk:)

idk sometimes i read posts and im just like "damn ive never seen somebody so stupid before"

I'm actually the one who created the category, and I originally made it without asking the other owners lmfao so I didn't even explain what my plan for it was lmao.

It's technically just a public archive. Staff are allowed to use it for whatever they want essentially.

I named it that because if I'm archiving a thread that's civil, I'm probably going to respect it enough to move it to one of our private archives. If I'm archiving a shit thread it probably should be public tbh.

Archiving in this context is similar to deleting a thread, but you're not actually deleting it. (Shocker). Deleting threads are not actually deleting them, but just hiding them publicly, so they're interactive still. WOTW for example, you can't react to posts in that category or anything.

But the primary reason why we wouldn't delete them is because there's some value to it, good or bad. When the site gets bigger, deleted threads are going to be flooded away in the abyss, similar to how it is on .org/.com, so these are threads that are interesting enough to set aside but does not have any value as an interactive thread.

Most threads that break the rules will probably be deleted, unless they can be educational or they're just so funny they have to stay around. Some boring threads might stay in there so we can link back threads for context, but it's just an archive mainly.
