Starting accutane

I went to the dermatologist today and I got an accutane prescription. I still have to get blood test done before I go on it so it’s not 100 percent certain, but it’s looking very good.
They said that I will be starting at a very low dose (10mg 5-7 days a week, once in the morning). anything I should know?

To begin with, you may notice your acne getting worse. This is normal it’s just a purge phase. It’ll settle soon after. Your skin and lips will get quite dry so drink lots of water and moisturise regularly.

10mg is really low do you know what the term length of you prescription is?
I was only on for 6months and I started with 30mg

I think they said I would be taking 10mg daily in the morning. Not too sure how long they said i will be taking it for, but they did say in 3-4 months ill come back and see if we need to get higher dosing

Damm I was on 30mg for a few months then went up to 60mg but you might have more clear skin then me when I started
