About
Most of the popular self-improvement communities use a dedicated category to highlight their best content, and we'll be doing the same. We'll be moving our most valuable and insightful threads into the "High Quality Content" category to keep them separated from other threads. Unlike the other categories, you can't create new threads in this category; it's designed to be a curated "gallery" that highlights top posts for both members and guests.Title Requirements
When a title doesn't meet the requirements, a moderator will edit it. To get your post approved faster, make sure the title meets the following criteria:- It should accurately reflect the content of your post.
- Avoid using all capital or all lowercase letters.
- Don't use special characters, such as emojis.
- The title shouldn't be clickbait.
- Refrain from using phrases like "high quality guide" or "must-read guide." The title should simply be a description of the content.
- Include the gender if the post is specific to a certain gender.
- Your title needs to include a prefix. If it doesn't, a moderator will add one for you.
Subject Requirements
To have your content moved to the High Quality Content category, it must meet our subject requirements. Any content that falls outside of these guidelines may not be considered.- The content needs to be related to self improvement in some manner.
- Guides are for teaching someone how to do something specific. Guides must be genuinely helpful and created for the benefit of the community.
- Information posts are for informing the reader about a specific topic.
- Hypotheses, opinions, theories, philosophy, debates, and even hypotheticals are allowed if they're thought-provoking, interesting, and well written.
Body Requirements
To have your content approved, it must:- Be written in English with correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Be coherent (consistent and logical) and properly structured into sections.
- Be easy to understand, with complex language or concepts simplified for the average reader.
- Be original; do not use content generated primarily by AI or cross-posted from other sites.
- Properly cite any direct quotes from other sources. If you didn't say it, quote and cite it properly.
- Be transparent. When sharing scientific information, studies, or statistics, please provide a link to the original source.
- Contain attachments (videos, images) that are uploaded directly to the site instead of being linked from a third party.
- Include working URLs and links. If a link is broken, update it.
- Be current and well-researched.
- Avoid using all capital or all lowercase letters.
- Avoid using text colors that may not be compatible with different user styles. For example, don't use white text, as it would be unreadable on a light theme.
- Be updated occasionally with new information.
