Vegetables are not bad for you. Vegetables have been proven to lower cancer rates, help your skin (acne, collagen, and uv protection). Obviously vegetables alone will not give you results, that’s why you eat it with things like meats and fruits, but completely cutting out vegetables is stupid.
If your main argument against fruit is oxalates, then just boil your fruit. Boiling fruit removes 30-87 percent of oxalates and just discard the water to stop it from absorbing back in.
Also the best source of carbs come from potatoes and sweet potatoes (you shouldn’t eat sweet potatoes as your only source of carbs though and don’t eat it daily). If you think that eating no carbs or low amounts of carbs are beneficial, it’s proven in studies that it harms bone growth and development.
If your argument is that vegetables have nothing special in them, then your wrong again as they contain phytochemicals (natural chemical compounds that come from plants) like glucosinolates and isothiocyanates (giving anticancer and anti inflammatory benefits) and vitamin K1 (also called phylloquinone) only comes from plants.
the only good argument against vegetables is that their sprayed with preservatives and pesticides, but even then, vegetables are very easy to grow at home.
Obviously some vegetables are much better than others, and if that’s your problem, only eat the ones that are better for you.
If your argument is that they will lower testosterone or raise estrogen, then just know phytoestrogens (a compound in plants that mimics estrogen) isn’t in all vegetables, but it is found in most, but the level is normally so low that it won’t actually affect your hormone levels.
Omega 6’s do lower testosterone, whilst vegetables do contain omega 6’s, home grown vegetables normally don’t contain much, only processed vegetables have a lot in them. Also know that omega 6 is important and has many important health benefits from it, and their also found in egg yolks.
