How do I get a job as someone in hs
If you're in America, I recommend joining indeed.com and setting up a resume there. Even if you have no work experience, you can put school experience down like clubs or whatever. Indeed's resume check thing was pretty helpful and I liked the skills suggestion feature for when you list a past experience.
I got a lot of interviews but no jobs from Indeed, which kinda sucks, but I think younger people usually has better luck with it. At least getting interviews is a good thing, because most people don't even get interviews anymore.
I got my current job from my sister referring me, so that's how most people get their jobs ngl. Is from friends/family recommending you to their employer.
However, if you cannot drive yourself or you don't have a vehicle you can use, then that's going to remove a majority of work for you. Your friends and family are probably willing to help with transportation for the first month but afterwards it'd be exhausting for them and they'll be less inclined to do it as time goes on, which puts your money/job up for risk. In general you also don't want to depend on other people like that, even if they're willing, because then it forces them to do it even if they feel sick or whatever too. It's just unfair to the people around you to depend on them for something they wouldn't actually gain much from. The only thing I could think of would be paying for their gas and a little extra.
I recommend getting your driver's license if you don't have it already and then ask your parents / guardians for assistance with looking for a cheap car.
After that, it's all about social skills so you can do good at interviews. I can give you ideas of what to say during an interview and what kind of questions they'll ask, but the best thing to do would be to just try and get as many interviews as you can and practicing or practicing with your family/friends, because it's going to be mainly delivery based and not answer based.
