Raw carrot salad (Ray Peat recipe)
I think that you already heard about this. Its supposed to help to cleanse estrogen and endotoxins out of your gut. Since carrot is a root vegetable it has developed antimicrobial properties, thats why it works. Im sure there are plenty of studies but im lazy so i aint linking anything.
Ingredients:
1x medium sized carrot
Coconut oil (or olive but i prefer coconut because its less unsaturated)
Vinegar
Salt (optional)
Recipe:
1. Rinse your carrot with water
2. Peel the outer layer off (trash)
3. Peel the carrot into relatively thin layers in a bowl
4. Put coconut oil in the bowl (5g/1tsp)
5. Put vinegar in the bowl (5g/1tsp)
6. Put some toxic rocks (salt)
7. Mix and enjoy
Now today i tried it for the first time and i really thought it will taste terrible, because lets be real its very unintuitive to eat. First few bites were very mid, but eventually i started to like it, like really like it. Obv steak tastes better but for plant this tasted very good. It tastes very sour, and idk if i want this to be an everyday thing, cuz i dont feel like this is really healthy, i can see myself eating this like 1x per 1-2 weeks tho. Let me know your opinion and experience
Other benefits from this are maybe the saturated fat from the coconut oil, sodium from salt and betacarotene if you wanna slightly enhance your tan
