How to get invited to more social events?

lowkey wondering the same thing. something my husband did when moving down to me was start attending public stuff. namely Pokemon since it was free entry typically and all that. we met some of our closest friends through that, and they host a ton of random cute events

im currently in communities about how to host, as i know i kinda wanna make things more interesting during hangout sessions.
