Understanding the "AI Generated?" Field

To maintain transparency in key categories, we’ve included a field where you can specify the type of generative AI used in your thread(s). Key categories include all of the Self Improvement subcategories, most of the Aesthetics subcategories, and some of the Other subcategories.

To clarify: our disclosure policy focuses specifically on generative AI due to its potential for hallucinations or inaccuracies. Standard AI used for routine tasks, such as algorithms, mathematical calculations, or search engines, etc., does not require disclosure, though you may mention it if you choose.

You're allowed to use generative AI for your content, you just need to disclose your usage of it. Failure to accurately represent your content can result in a warning.

Your content only needs to meet one of the requirements of each option for it to qualify for that option, it does not need to meet all of the requirements.

There are 4 options:

1. This content was primarily created with generative AI.
   1. Generative AI accounts for the majority (50%>) of this written content.
   2. This content was fully written by generative AI with minimal input of a human.
   3. This content relies on sources found exclusively through generative AI.
   4. This content relies on sources found primarily through generative AI, with minimal or no fact-checking by a human.
      
2. This content was created with the assistance of generative AI.
   1. Generative AI accounts for a good portion (15%-49%) of this written content.
   2. Content is still human-authored, and generative AI was used solely for rephrasing and/or stylistic improvements.
   3. This content relies on sources found by generative AI, but is still fact-checked and validated by a human.
   4. This content relies on source summaries created by generative AI as a primary form of fact checking.
      
3. This content uses minimal usage of generative AI.
   1. Generative AI accounts for a small portion (<14%) of this written content.
   2. Content is still human-authored, and generative AI was used solely for minor written improvements (grammar and spelling).
      
4. This content has zero usage of generative AI.
   1. In most cases, you don't need to disclose your content has 0 zero usage of generative AI, but you can if you want to.
