You're correct. I was just trying to phrase things from a more supportive lens. The alternative was that my response was give an example that would involve me in some way which would imply that I should also be someone who is thanked for allowing this site to exist through being your partner. My intention was to clarify, not to pull rank which would then belittle someone else.
