i interpret this phrase similar to the classic english one of "even a broken clock is right twice a day" like mentioned by @The WifeThe Wife is verified member. previously, but when i hear that phrase it's typically referencing that the person who says a bunch of things may occasionally hit a bullseye and be correct, but their overall beliefs / actions are still wrong and it should be considered.

for an example, conspiracy theorists who made a bunch of claims back before the epstein files were released or even mentioned. the type of people who believe the world is flat and that the moon landing is fake aren't sane enough to make a clear, rational judgement about life and what a lot of it means. but were they wrong about some of the world's most powerful elite doing depraved, fucked up shit? well, no. they were right. but only this once
