censored slur usage is still not allowed

Hi guys, I saw a lot of people doing this, and thought I'd come out and say this outright.

Even if you use stars, hashtags or remove letters from a slur, it doesn't make it alright.

We still consider it as slur usage, and will use the same punishment as such. Purposefully bypassing the censorship system will also warrant additional warnings.

If you're from other forums, you might see this as soft - but we won't tolerate crude behavior on this site.

looksmaxxing culture is what we're trying to avoid at The Appearance Guide. We enforce policies based off of the exclusion of other users, e.g., using slurs, unnecessary insulting, talking about crude topics with the intent to be shocking or disturbing, gore/NSFW is not allowed, etc. All of these rules are put into place to let outsiders feel welcomed to join us and to learn about the concepts we want to talk about. These concepts only existed to keep people out on other sites, not to let people in.

Which is fine - Not everyone from these spaces are going to like this "radical" change from what they're used to, and a lot of people from these spaces have struggled to adapt to this concept. We're not made for everyone - We're trying to reach a demographic that wants to focus on self improvement, not all of this other stuff involved. A lot of people are on these sites are for the other ideological concepts, not solely self improvement, and they would have more benefit being on those sites instead of this one.
