Beard & It's types — Why YOU Shouldn't be clean shaven.

Importance
"Shave Looks the best bro:feelsuhh:"
You'll think differently after this thread.
Facial hair generally enhances a man's attractiveness by signaling maturity, masculinity, and higher social status

"bUt... Attractive people are clean-shaven" says Bobby who looks no-different then a female and has a non-dominant jaw.
Well Bobby you aren't Chico(A supermodel who is extremely attractive and who is clean-shaven.). Hence, You can use Facial Hair to your advantage.
(Spoiler: Attractive people will mog with or without beard)
- It can be used to hide a weak jawline and fraud it into a better one.
- If you're young it can make you look older, which can be a HUGE way for you to increase your looks (especially if you're 13-16, when almost nobody else has one).
- It can be used to hide nasolabial folds and other wrinkles.
- It's a sexually dimorphic trait for males, which means you will look more masculine.
- Can block UV rays/sunlight which can harm your skin, keeping your skin healthy and clear.(https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22090417/)
- Shaving can give you acne.
- It can help you feel more confident and attractive, helping your high-inhibitions.
- You can mog others who can't grow beards.

- Both men and women will perceive you as more masculine, more attractive, healthier, and a better parent.
Adding a beard significantly boosted ratings of masculinity and dominance (and to a lesser extent attractiveness) regardless of underlying bone structure.
Even if its a light stubble or a heavy stubble or a fully grown beard.
Adding a slight stubble will NEVER decrease your looks, regardless of anything. In every singular person a light stubble performed than clean-shaven.
But it could increase it.

On top of that most men Can't even grow a full beard nowadays(I will explain how YOU can grow one later on).

Balance
Balance is key
. If you have a very masculine face, with very masculine features; you could add in more feminine traits, But if you have a feminine face, with feminine features; adding some masculine traits will benifit you.
Why is this you may ask?
More Testosterone(dimorphic/masculinized face) = more attractive, right?
Wrong, Balance is everything.

Basically,
Talking according to Evolution, Women needed to find a partner who could not only protect, provide (Dimorphic traits) etc. (High-Testosterone), but also didn't leave them(Too High-Testosterone)
Hence a good balance between feminism and masculinity was needed.

and since: Testosterone, the primary male sex hormone, plays a crucial role in beard growth. During puberty, testosterone levels surge, triggering the development of secondary sexual characteristics, including facial hair growth. Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone derived from testosterone, is particularly responsible for stimulating the growth of terminal (thick and coarse) facial hair.(Though genes play a crucial role too)

Hence, Beard = Higher Testosterone (Though genes play a crucial role)
Hence, More dimorphic facial traits = more feminine features (Hair covering forehead, clean shaven ETC.)

More feminine features = more masculine external features (Like beard)

Bearded faces with smaller jaws were rated most attractive, followed by bearded or clean-shaven faces with larger jaws. Clean-shaven faces with small jaws were rated least attractive. This suggests beards can “rescue” weaker lower faces in terms of appeal while still enhancing dominance.
For example
The tiktok hair(Umbrella fringe) was getting famous, why is that? Oh it must be because of the hair, right?
It was never about the hair.
Rather the bone structure and how it co-related with the [hair covering forehead(feminine trait) + clean shaven(Feminine trait)]+ [Society easily accepting feminine men + them being easier to like.]

Hence this signaled good genes + masculine facial features but feminine personality.
(Most of them also have good jaws)
(Pretty boy aesthetic ik)
But it was not only that reason alone, rarity also comes in play; rarity is also the reason why trends stop being trending after a while.

Rarity
How
common or rare your beard type is also matters as much as anything else.
The rarer your beard type is, the better.
1774186055553.png
This also applies to less common things better than common ones, which explains why trends occur.

One celebrity does something different, people love it (because its rare) then people start following that, making it more common and less attractive over time, until another celeb moves on; and this keeps going.

Hence, you wanna go for a more rare beard type,
Right now goatee is trending hence don't go for that.

(Clean shaven too)

Types of beard
(made with the help of AI)

I have only mentioned the one's worth doing.

How to grow a beard
1. Derma stamp(or pen or roller)(per week) + Minoxidil 5%(2x per day)

Pretty self explanatory(water), Use the derma stamp on your beard atleast once per week, and apply minox every day, and on derma stamping days atleat 12 hours after derma stamp. On Night and morning. for around 6 months or till desired results
Contrary to popular belief, you don't need to use minoxidil for life on beard.
Oral works too.

2. Pepperment oil
Peppermint oil is a mixed bag. On one hand, it's much more effective than Minox or Jojoba oil in rat studies[5], but on the other, it has the possibility of decreasing testosterone[6] (VERY IMPORTANT: The study that showed this however made their subject ingest peppermint TEA, which is different from applying it topically.) I personally would still use this but do what you want. Apply twice a day.(Serum or oral)

3. Everything else(Optional):
The ROI for these isn't alot, tho it may slightly help
--Supplements
(slight help, wont do much)
  • Ashwaganda (Placebo, mostly won't do much) - 500mg (per day for 3 months).
  • Zinc(Most are deficient) - 15 mg
  • Magnesium - Glycinate, 250 mg
  • L-cartinate, L-tarate - L-Carnitine increases your androgen sensitivity and can activate dormant hair follicles. Take 5 grams of L-carnitine L-tartarate daily.
  • Biotin(Extremely optional)
  • Castor oil
--Facial massages- Stimulates blood flow.
--Exfoliating beard area.
