Importance of Other Facial Muscles:
1. Masseter Muscles:
- These muscles, mostly acting together with the temporalis, are very important during mastication.
- It contributes much to the strength and in building the jaw bone.

2. Facial Muscles:
- There is a host of facial muscles contributing to the various expressions and functioning of the face.
- Their action by these muscles also helps maintain the balance and proportion of the structure of the face.
Whereas the general health effects of skull structure in turn partly depend upon the temporalis muscles, they are themselves part of a larger system that includes genetics, nutrition, and other muscles of the face. For the skull to develop optimally, all these elements have to interact.
