Brain fog…

I have questions and you might have answers.

We know the feeling of being ill all too well. Some more than others. But, what are your favorite coping mechanisms for when your brain has no energy?

⋆˚꩜。BRAIN FOG。𖦹°‧
common symptoms are poor memory, lack of focus, confusion, difficulty concentrating, and fatigue

feels like your mind being wiped out after getting wrapped around a pole.

this can impact your daily life and mood heavily, preventing you from getting your necessities done. sucks to be bedridden on Christmas though.

The most common causes stem from
illness (my case)
★ nutritional deficiencies like iron, vit B12, folate, and omega threes
★ lifestyle factors - moving your body, managing stress, and getting an adequate amount of sleep
hormones
★ medications

most of the tips I found sounded like cope.
duh I want to sleep ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁, but I’ve already had a twelve hour rest and my body won’t let me function any more efficiently with more rest.

› meditation
doesn’t seem to help much. still feels like I’m getting a lobotomy

›staying hydrated
just lol. same bad advice that is given to people with acne

the only thing I will add is that I don’t think I want to give up coffee rn, those 80mg are the only reason I’m semi alive rn.
so thank you kind readers and all suggestions are welcome!!

Side note: there’s an interesting article I read about the long lasting effects of Covid and brain fog, so if you’re curious I’ll link it… but that’s a separate rabbit hole
