Understanding mutual respect in relationships
Don't listen to the redpilled nonsense famous figures like Andrew Tate or clavicular are throwing around.
Being disrespectful, rude and dismissive will never give you girls and will never lead to a happy relationship. There's one good thing these gurus promote - which is confidence.. but there's a fine line between being confident and being an asshole.
A man/woman who has long term plans and opinions doesn't need to belittle their partner or play weird mind games to feel in control, that entire concept comes from insecurity.
Mutual respect shouldn't be anything special, it's literally the bare minimum to a happy relationship, you don't build anything out of manipulation and ego.
A good, strong, long lasting relationship is built on:
- trust
- clear boundaries
- honesty
- mutual investment
- control
- patience
It's not built on who can dominate the other. (although in bed is a different thing.)
A lot of guys i see on other forums, or the internet in general, will sabotage themselves by thinking if they be like andrew tate, all the girls will want them, when it couldn't be further away from the truth.
Be respectful to your partner, and you'll recieve respect from them.
