It depends on whether you want to go for simplicity or flashiness, i think simple colors are great for 'memorization' of what they mean and are just simply nice on the eyes, while flashy colors while being cool might make the site more confusing. These reasons are always why forums use simple colors for NON-VIP users.
That being said, i can't wait untill a year passes and i can flex my og veteran color. :GoofyCat:
