Damn what a good franchise it is, i sometimes see clips or pictures of it on social media and get instant flashbacks of when i watched it and how glued to the screen i was. I think i haven't enjoyed any franchise more and i watched lotr and godfather multiple times (which are considered masterpieces).

One thing i will always be thankful to my ex for is forcing me to watch the movies with her.

The movies aren't even flawlessly written, infact they're very imperfect and have a lot of inconsistent issues, but it's still so charming and the characters are so lovable that the imperfections are what makes it perfect.

Really love it

Pirates of The Caribbean is brought up a lot when studying social dynamics. There's this theory called the Bowenian triangle based off two principles:

1. Groups of 2 do great when things are going well, they struggle when things are bad (2 is a date, 3 has a third wheel)
2. Groups of 3 do great when things are bad, but struggle when things are going well (2 people argue, 3 people come to a consensus)

Pirates of The Caribbean takes this idea and makes it the basis of the movie. It's just constant switching between 2-3 characters to have relationships build or to work together for a fight scene. It's all vibes and I'm here for it
