Is there a specific amount or percentage you think people should put in to improve their appearance? When is it too much? When do you feel like people are complaining but didn't invest enough? etc.

These can include surgeries, products, wellness, etc.

Will depends of people's start and their actual budget.

Lot of people are broke or frugal (because of debt, inflation, etc) and lot of people have different starts. Let's say a Henry Cavill lookalike is actually blessed with height, bones, and hair, will have not much to invest to still succeed in life.

On the opposite, let's say a short ugly guy is gonna need to spend more on haircuts, clothes, gym etc but also invasive surgeries like a hair transplant, if he's bald, jaw surgery, LL surgery etc...

So yeah it'll depends of how you look like before and how much you're willing to pay for it.
